2012 Artwork Owing.
For =purpledaydreams, as a combined donation/kiriban prize.
I have been owing PDD for so, so long for donating points to me. Then she caught my 15,000th pageview a few weeks back, and I owed her more again. So this piece is a combination of both those owings; a character design for the donation, and a character manipulation for the kiriban.
PDD requested a stallion with some sort of mythical trait. With a twist. From that, this fetching beastie was born.
I have been calling him Vex. He is a Sooty Isabella Palomino min. Sabino with Birdcatcher Spots. And he's mainly equine. That's about all I know for certain. The rest, I guess, is a mixture of unicorn and.. goat? Maybe?
Yes, those are meant to be little goat-like horns. And he has little goat-y hooves, too. Cloven, they are. And big, floppy ears. Like a cow. That's a dreamcatcher with peacock feathers tied in his mane. His eyes are actually really pretty, but you can't see them that well from far away. They are sectorally heterochromic; gold and teal.
Hum.
I had lots of fun with this one.. Designing him and bringing him to life. I think he's quite the spiffster, don't you?
